About JMC Accountants
Hello and thank you for visiting. I am Jean Cooke and I formed JMC Accountants in January 2009, providing essential accountancy and taxation services to individuals, owner-managed businesses and small/medium-sized companies.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002 whilst working for a highly-successful London accountancy practice; prior to this I enjoyed 5 years in a large York-based practice. I formed my own accounting business to offer a tailor-made and personalised accounting service to businesses and individuals who prefer more 121 support. For most businesses and individuals the world of accountancy and taxation can be a minefield and often larger accountancy practices are unable to spend time offering guidance and support to their customers.
Many of my clients use all or some of the services I offer; some have the full accounting package, Outsourced FD, where others simply have their annual accounts prepared and filed. I work with a diverse range of clients from many different sectors including all over Hertfordshire, Essex and London.
Each and every client is unique and you can be assured of a completely bespoke accounting service from me, working together to ensure that you make sound financial decisions and your accounts are prepared and submitted perfectly.
I am also highly experienced in the use of Sage, Xero and QuickBooks accounting software. I offer full support and training in how to manage your own accounts which then means you reduce your accountancy costs.
